Divine TIming Doula Services, LLC

Don’t wait until the 6 week OB appointment to check-in on your own mental and physical health. Becoming a new (or new again) mother is a new and exciting journey with a lot of unknowns. As your doula, I would love to help you conquer any struggles, provide professional education and resources, and be the compassionate advocate and support you (the parents) need during this vulnerable time in your life.

Planning Meeting

What type of energy are you envisioning at home? What are some self care priorities? We will plan out your very specific needs, wants, and goals.

Physical Support

Providing opportunities for mom to rest and recover by easing the physical demands of recovery and the day to day tasks of maintaining a home. Providing mom and partner opportunities for physical activity such as walks, yoga, etc.

Emotional Support

The doula is able to authentically listen and provide emotional support in a nonjudgmental space. Active listening is a treasured tool. Having a friend outside of your circle to talk to and with is crucial to mental health.

Breastfeeding Support

Let's be real: breastfeeding can be painful, difficult, and confusing. The doula is able to provide immediate observations on position, latch, comfort measures, etc. and provide the crucial feedback to get over those humps.

Newborn Care

Have you heard of "leaps" "wake windows" or "The Five S'"? The doula is able to utilize tried and true soothing and comfort strategies that work best for you and your baby. The doula is also able to provide current and researched based evidence on best practices of newborn care.

Personal Care

How? You are exhausted, overwhelmed, and don’t have any independent and uninterrupted time. The doula is able to listen to you and your partner’s needs and create opportunities for a self care shower, walk, show, nap, provide a homecooked meal, and more.

Community Referrals

"It takes a village" right? The doula can provide connections in the local parenthood community either in person or virtual. These include breastfeeding groups, nutritionist information, mom’s groups, postpartum depression/anxiety supports, and more.
